i. Matric with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects).
OR
Matric with Arts as specified by HEC vide Notification No.8(61)A&A/2018/HEC/5799, dated 26.04.2018.

ii. Diploma in General Nursing registered with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNMC).

iii. Diploma in Midwifery registered with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNMC) for female nurse
OR
Diploma in One-year Post-Basic Specialty registered with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNMC) for male nurse in lieu of Midwifery Diploma

iv. The candidate must have at least two years of regular Government service on her/his credit which shall be calculated till last date of application.

v. Candidate should not have availed any training (Diploma/Degree Program) in last three years.

vi. Candidate should not have any ongoing disciplinary proceedings.

vii. The Adhoc or Contract employees are NOT eligible for admission.

viii. Minimum 60% aggregate marks in General Nursing & Midwifery (for females) and General Nursing & one-year Specialization (for males).

ix. Minimum marks in UHS Entry Test shall be 40%.

x. Medical Fitness Certificate from any certified public-sector institution.

xi. Maximum age limit will be 55 years which shall be calculated till last date of application. (No age relaxation will be given beyond the permitted age limit of 55 years in any case under any circumstances).

xii. Applying candidate should have domicile of Punjab.
